The Florida Institute of CPAs was built on volunteerism more than 100 years ago, and it is volunteerism keeping the Institute relevant for its members and securing its place as one of the most respected state CPA societies in the country.
The FICPA has several award programs allowing the leadership and the organization to recognize outstanding volunteer service within the CPA community.

About the Award: Acknowledges the extraordinary achievements of an individual CPA participating in public service activities and promotes the CPA designation as the premier professional credential for accounting, auditing and finance professionals.

FICPA Outstanding Educator Award
About the Award: Designed to recognize full-time college accounting educators distinguished for excellence in teaching and for national prominence in the accounting profession. The award has a dual function: to extend profession-wide recognition to the recipient and promote role models in academia.

FICPA Women to Watch Awards
About the Award: The Women to Watch Awards were created by The American Institute of CPAs to recognize outstanding women in the accounting professions and are given in two categories: Established Leaders and Emerging Leaders. Started in 2010, the FICPA Women to Watch Awards were created to focus on the outstanding women who not only shape the Florida Institute of CPAs, but also the profession.
Who’s Eligible: Nominees must be a CPA and a member of both the FICPA and the AICPA and not currently serving on the Women in Leadership Committee.
