About The Instructor
Kathryn Horton is President of Kathryn Horton CPA PA and is an industry leader in the use of data analytics, specifically using Caseware IDEA. Kathryn was the recipient of the 2017 North America IDEA User of Excellence Award. She was a featured speaker at the 2018 and 2020 National IDEA User Conference and has presented on data analytics to both regional and national audiences, including the 2021 Annual Conference for the Institute of Management Accountants. Kathryn was recognized as a 2020 and 2019 National 40 Under 40 Honoree by CPA Practice Advisor, and is a current Board Member for the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA). Kathryn was awarded the 2020 Emerging Leader Woman to Watch by the FICPA, is a graduate of the 2020 Florida TaxWatch Citizenship Institute and was selected as a participant for the 2021 AICPA Leadership Academy. She is an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Covenant House, HANDY, Project Downtown Fort Lauderdale and Firewall Centers.
