About The Instructor
Henry Martin, CPA, is a partner in CohnReznick's Boca Raton office and provides audit and advisory services for privately held business, private equity portfolio companies and employee benefit He has 20 plus years of experience in the areas of auditing, and consulting. Throughout his career, Henry has also worked extensively on employee benefit plan audits and 5500 reviews. He is responsible f30r more than 25 employee benefit plan audits, including defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, and employee stock ownership plans. In addition to performing compliance services, he also provides transaction advisory services including due diligence for merger and acquisition transactions and agreed upon procedures.Henry has extensive technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, Department of Labor Regulations, and ERISA requirements. In his engagements, Henry is responsible for risk assessment; internal control evaluation; determination of scope; selection of procedures; supervision of engagement staff; workpaper review; managing client engagement and communication; and the identification, resolution, and summarization of significant audit issues.
Henry receives more than 30 hours annually of employee benefit plan continuing professional education (CPE). Henry is a committee member of the FICPA Employee Benefit Plans and has been a frequent speaker on fiduciary issues and plan audit readiness.
