About The Instructor
Ralph Garcia is Managing Partner at RGA Advisory. Ralph has avidly studied the evolution of the public accounting profession during his career spanning 40 plus years. He spent most of this time with a growing regional Tampa practice beginning as a staff accountant and working his way up to leading the firm for 7 years as its Managing Partner. During his tenure as MP, the firm was recognized as the 2010 Business of the Year in Tampa and winner of several Best Places to Work awards. Ralph's final duties as Managing Partner was to expand the capabilities of the firm and opportunities for staff by negotiating and overseeing the combination of his firm with a top 30 CPA firm, Warren Averett. For the subsequent 5 years he was Office Managing Member for Central Florida. Ralph retired from Public Accounting at the end of 2017.
He now dedicates his time to "serving others" through his firm, RGA Advisory. Besides earning his CPA, Ralph is also an Accredited Mindshop Facilitator (AMSF). His primary focus is helping organizations throughout the USA and Canada, specifically their leadership teams, to fix problems and pursue their opportunities in a strategic manner. He has spoken at national Accounting and Advisory conferences. He also is the 2021 Cohort Chair for the Minority Business Accelerator of the Tampa Bay Chamber. In addition to his RGA Advisory work, Ralph holds director positions on selected boards of privately-owned companies and is chair elect of the Board of Trustees of a multi-Billion-dollar health system.
